The CIDC Fellowship Programme

There are a number of sources of funds open to application from veterinarians and other scientists to undertake post-graduate studies in infectious diseases within the network of Institutions estabished within CIDC. These include the Wellcome Trust, the Cambridge Gates Trust and the BBSRC. These fellowship schemes are generally highly competitive.

We no longer hold any funds to support these studies directly, but welcome applications from outstanding individuals interested in working to win their own fellowship support. Many current students are jointly registered within collaborating institutions, including the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, The Animal Health Trust Veterinary Laboratory Agency and the Institute for Animal Health.
