The Cambridge Equine Clinic
The Cambridge Equine Clinic aims to provide a comprehensive, mobile general practitioner service within an approximately thirty mile radius of the University of Cambridge Veterinary School.
Services will include:
- 24-hour emergency call out.
- Daily consultations by appointment.
- Routine healthcare, including vaccination, annual health checks, worming, passports and microchipping.
- Geriatric medicine.
- Dental care, from prophylactic checks to motorised rasping.
- Pre-purchase examination.
- Castration.
- Lameness evaluation.
- Reproductive care, pre-breeding examination, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and foal health checks.
- Group/yard visits accommodated.
- Attendance at events, shows or pony club can be arranged.
Most cases can initially be seen at the owners' premises. Any cases requiring further diagnostic evaluation or in-depth treatment can be brought into the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital and if necessary referred to a specialist clinician.
