Library Introduction


The Veterinary School Library is a departmental library, part of the libraries at Cambridge, who's aim is to support the teaching and research within the department. The main collection covers all aspects of veterinary medicine with a large emphasis on the clinical aspect. It also houses information on medical and scientific subjects that crosses over into veterinary medicine. The library houses an extensive range of books as well as journals. There is access to photocopiers; copying of articles and books is permitted only within the Copyright Law. The library has its own Wireless Network.

The library is located in the main building next to the reception. It is open for 24 hours a day for members of the Department and from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday for non-members

The library may be used by members and employees of the University on the production of a University card. Other may be admitted by prior arrangement.
