Professor Clare Bryant, Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator Award, 2015

Professor Clare Bryant was the recipient of a Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator Award for her application entitled Inflammasome formation in infectious and inflammatory diseases. Not only does this award bring £2.1M over 5 years to Clare’s research, it is immensely prestigious and a major achievement for her. It is very significant for the Department to have recipients of such awards leading our research programmes.
