I completed a Bachelors and Masters degree in Biology at the ENS de Lyon, in France, during which I got the opportunity to perform internships focused on transmissible cancers and mathematical modelling of cancer, which convinced me to pursue a PhD in this field. During my course as a PhD student at the department of veterinary medicine, I will be working with Professor Elizabeth Murchison, in the Transmissible Cancer Group, using bioinformatics and genomics to investigate transmissible cancers in dogs and Tasmanian Devils.
