The supervisor is responsible for informing the student if their progress is not adequate but also has a duty to assist the student in correcting any deficiency. Any serious lack of progress should be reported by the supervisor to the Departmental Graduate Office and noted on the CamSIS graduate reporting system as soon as possible.
