Tuesday 25th March 2025 - THE ANIMAL HEARTBEAT – LIVE PODCAST

Interested in AI in Medicine?

Join us for a LIVE podcast discussing  ‘AI in Human and Veterinary Cardiology’ for the Cambridge Festival 2025.

Artificial intelligence is transforming medicine at an unprecedented pace, but what does this mean for cardiology? Over the next three to five years, AI has the potential to change diagnostics, clinical decision-making, and patient outcomes in ways we are only beginning to understand. At this live recording of The Animal Heartbeat podcast at the Cambridge Festival 2025, a panel of experts from human and veterinary medicine will explore how AI is reshaping cardiology. The discussion will consider the latest developments, ethical implications, and the evolving role of clinicians in an AI-driven future.

Our expert panel includes:

  • Dr. Matthew Shun-Shin, Consultant Cardiologist, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Dr. Catherine Stowell, Imperial College London and Founder of the Animal Ultrasound Association
  • Professor Anurag Agarwal, Professor of Acoustics and Biomedical Technology, University of Cambridge
  • Professor Virginia Luis Fuentes, Professor of Veterinary Cardiology, Royal Veterinary College
  • The discussion will be hosted by Jose Novo Matos and Kieran Borgeat, veterinary cardiologists and co-hosts of The Animal Heartbeat podcast.

Whether you are interested in AI-driven diagnostics, its role in clinical workflows, or the future of AI in medicine, this discussion will provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities ahead. Event sponsored by IDEXX.
