This includes help with planning, including planning to work within the time framework of milestones as outlined below; help with background reading (providing entry to references etc); technical help (either personally or arranging for them to be helped by others) and theoretical guidance (further refining the aims and rationale of the project). You will be asked to help plan and discuss their training options and to help keep and sign off items in the personal log. However you are not expected to run the student as a mere technical assistant.
