We are delighted to share that Professor Clare Bryant, Professor of Innate Immunity at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, has been elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
She is one of four researchers from the University of Cambridge to receive this prestigious honour this year. The new Fellows have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to medical science, pioneering research, and translating scientific developments into benefits for patients and the wider public.
Reacting to the announcement, Professor Bryant said, “I am thrilled and privileged to be elected alongside other such talented scientists. It’s a great recognition of the hard work of my research group in producing outstanding research in innate immunity.”
This well-deserved recognition places Professor Bryant among a Fellowship of over 1,450 leading biomedical scientists who play a vital role in shaping research and health policy in the UK and worldwide, while also supporting and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
