On Saturday 5 July, the University of Cambridge’s School of Veterinary Medicine celebrated the graduation of its 2025 cohort, who were formally admitted into the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). The ceremony brought together 57 graduates to celebrate in the nearby Ray Dolby Centre - the new home of the Cavendish Laboratory, Department of Physics - joined by proud family and friends.
The event opened with a procession led by Professor Mark Holmes, Head of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, who welcomed the graduates and guests. This year’s guest speaker was Dr Danny Chambers, respected clinician and Member of Parliament, who shared words of encouragement and insight as the new graduates begin their careers and Dr Linda Belton, President of the RCVS, who officially admitted the graduates into the College.
We warmly congratulate the Class of 2025 and wish them every success in their future careers!
