Biography

I am originally from Portugal and graduated from the ICBAS - University of Porto in 2013. I have worked for four years in a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto and for one and a half years in a first opinion practice in the UK. During this time, I completed the General Practitioner certificate in Neurology (GPCert Neuro).

I have completed a Neurology internship, followed by an ECVN-approved Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Anderson Moore's Veterinary Specialists, Hampshire. I currently work in a local referral practice as a Neurology Clinician, alongside my academic journey as a PhD student in the University of Cambridge.
