Biography

I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the university of Cambridge, under the supervision of Professor James Wood. My PhD topic will build on my previous work on the FluMAP study, which focused on understanding more about the avian influenza epidemic in the UK, and farmers behaviours and implementation of biosecurity on poultry farms.

Before this, I studied for a MSc at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and for a BSc in Global Health at Queen Mary University of London. I have worked on various research projects focusing on a range of different health areas, including COVID-19, reproductive and sexual health; health of the homeless, mental health and Zika. I am very interested in conducting research on under-represented populations and groups, and enjoy using qualitative methodologies to conduct my work.
