I am pursuing my PhD in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Professor John Gibson. My research primarily investigates the permeability characteristics of red blood cells and their disruptions in various haemoglobinopathies, notably in sickle cell disease (SCD).
Before the current work, I completed a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College during the 2019-2020 academic year. Following that, I earned another Master's degree in Drug Discovery and Pharmaceutical Management from University College London (UCL) for the 2022-2023 period. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also gained practical experience working as a Technical Support specialist at Novogene.
