Department of Veterinary Medicine
I received a BSc in Biotechnology from Sichuan University (China) in 2017. After that, I received a MRes from the University of Manchester majoring Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. In Manchester, I worked at Professor Anthony Day’s lab and looked into the anti-inflammatory abilities of Infrapatellar fat pad derived stem cells in human osteoarthritis through the expression of an anti-inflammatory protein TSG-6. I start my PhD at Cambridge University from April 2019 in Dr Frances Henson’s lab working on the effects of MSC or exosomes on pain in osteoarthritis animal models.
I am interested in potential relation between osteopathic pain attenuation and the MSC or MSC-derived exosomes.
