Hello! My name is Myrto and I am a medical student at the University of Cambridge, currently doing an intercalated PhD in Infectious Disease Dynamics at the Department of Veterinary Medicine. In 2016, I graduated with a B.A. in Pathology with a special interest in Microbiology and my goal is to explore the field of in-host dynamics of bacterial diseases using quantitative methods, before hitting the lecture theatres and wards again! I love debating, philosophy and learning new languages, and I hope that even when things get busy, there will always be enough time to do a bit of everything I enjoy!
