Biography

Phil Palmer is a PhD student in biology at the Laboratory of Viral Zoonotics, supervised by Prof. Jonathan Heeney. He is currently working on using computational methods to predict and validate vaccine candidates, including those used for the development of a universal flu vaccine. Prior to this he worked for two years as an early employee and bioinformatician at the breakout start-up Lifebit. He also holds a first-class degree in Biology from the University of Southampton.
