Biography

I qualified as a vet from Cambridge in 2008 and worked in small animal practice until September 2017 when I started here as a BBSRC DTP student. In June 2020 I also became a resident of the European College of Veterinary Public Health.

Research

The continued use of animals for food production carries with it a responsibility to protect human and non-human health, welfare and the environment and the PhD looks at livestock associated antimicrobial resistance in the UK and its implications for public health and the farming industry.
