I studied cellular and molecular medicine as an undergraduate at the University of Bristol. I have had the opportunity to undertake internships at York Bioanalytical Solutions in Sandwich and at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies. I am now pursuing an MPhil in Biological Sciences working with Dr Cinzia Cantacessi.
I am researching the relationships between intestinal parasites, their hosts and the host’s gut flora. My research goals are to investigate the effect of such parasites in modifying their environment in non-human primates.
