Congratulations go to Dr Gareth Pearce

 Gareth has been appointed as a Adjunct Professor in the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the University of New England in Australia.

The appointment is intended to enhance collaborations in the areas of Sustainable Livestock Production and Animal Welfare Science there.

We are carrying out an important research project into the development of the nostrils in brachycephalic (short-faced) dog breeds. The breeds that we are looking at in this study are French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs and Pugs.
